Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has said he will not reintroduce impeachment articles against Secretary of War Pete Hegseth if Hegseth resigns; Massie had filed eight articles in September over the Iran war and War Powers Resolution violations, per a single social-media report. Separately, Shield AI reportedly unveiled a full-scale X-BAT prototype, a vertical take-off and landing jet-powered drone, on November 3, with flight testing planned in Newton, Kansas. Both items rest on secondhand reporting. The earlier account of Trump's comments on the Iran war and midterm losses is no longer part of current coverage.
